Overview:

We are actively seeking Retail Client Associates to be an active part of the casual refined and social environment of the Travis Mathew retail division. The Client Associate position is a sales and service focused player on the sales floor to set the tone for selling service and in store culture.

Client Associates should be approachable, focused, and playful in their approach to the social environment in the store, focusing around building relationships and making our guests lives better in their time they spend in our TM home.

Job Responsibilities:

The Client Associate role is focused towards the Sales and Service experience for our guests.

Sales and Service:

  • It’s a party and everyone is invited. First and foremost, be a part of the team to create a friendly, open, and inviting environment for our guests to feel comfortable to hang out and have a good time.
  • Instill an approachable and efficient sales and service focus on the floor to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional service.
  • The selling philosophy should be focused around building relationships and trying to make people’s lives better and providing items to complement and enhance their lifestyle. Connect with the clients on a personal level thru the love of the brand core metrics. Develop and retain a following of repeat clients to drive individual sales goals.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of apparel each season, including fit, fabric and intended use of the line. Understand and communicate performance and functionality on and off the course.
  • Participate in effective product and visual merchandising in the store to drive sales and create a positive customer experience that is easy to shop and outfit head to toe.
  • Participate in store event and CRM activities that are subliminal and focused to reward repeat business in a focused, efficient and approachable manner.

Operational Excellence:

  • A team player in POS selling and inventory management accuracy.
  • Honesty and integrity in all actions.

Required Qualifications:

  • One year of retail selling or client service experience in complementary environments.
  • Genuine love of the brand and Travis Mathew culture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal social skills are a must.

Embroidery Assistant

Location: Huntington Beach, CA
Experience: 2+ Years
Rate: N/A (Full-Time)

Overview:

Responsible for coordinating all artwork creation, digitization development, stitch out approvals, color coordinating all logos for embroidery and managing the logo library files.

Essential Functions:

  • Communicate and interact with internal and external customers in order to obtain instructions needed to complete embroidery orders
  • Prioritize workload to meet customer ship dates and deadlines
  • Coordinate logo development including setup, development, approvals with digitizing partner, library revisions, stitch out approvals, editing and quality control
  • Maintain detailed customer files and approval processes on all new/existing logo development and stitch outs
  • Oversee embroidery color-up process; color coordination of the logo with the TravisMathew product to meet customer specifications
  • Coordinate sample requests and approvals
  • Input and edit orders using an ERP system
  • Maintain and distribute status reports to executive team on current workflow and future planning
  • Vendor forecasting, rate negotiation, and overall process updates per season
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma required
  • 2-4 year degree in Art or Design related field preferred or 2 years’ experience working with embroidery requirements and color coordination
  • Knowledge of thread coding/numbering/pantone matching system a plus
  • Working knowledge of silk screening, heat transfer, heat applique and embroidery processes a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and organization
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize

Graphic Design Manager

Location: Huntington Beach, CA

Overview:

We are seeking a full-time Graphic Design manager with 2+ years of graphic design and management experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee and manage the TM Graphic Design department
  • Manage the workflow of all graphic design projects including print, web, catalog, hangtags etc.
  • Establish a workflow for the Graphic Design department to effectively produce project assets
  • Oversee TravisMathew photoshoots and play a large role in the overall look and feel of each season
  • Execute major graphic design projects including seasonal catalogs, brochures, email blasts, collection launches and landing pages
  • Work directly with the eCommerce department to effectively promote current initiatives and products on the website, in advertising and in email marketing
  • Assist in the design of SMU products including t-shirts and accessories

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge and experience of the Adobe Suite
  • Illustration skills are a major plus (hand drawn and/or digital)
  • Print / Catalog design experience is a must
  • Web Design experience is a must
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Project management experience is a must
