Since 2007, TravisMathew has taken the golf world by storm. In a sport that has notoriously been known for its baggy shirts, loud colors, and funny looking shoes, the vision behind TravisMathew has always been making products that are comfortable and stylish that can be worn on and off the course.

The TravisMathew Team echoes the fact that you don’t have to be uptight to enjoy the game of golf and is leading the way for what the new generation of PGA Tour Pros looks like. They are a group of guys who think outside the box, and that is why Team TravisMathew’s newest player makes so much sense.

“We are excited to welcome Keegan Bradley to the TravisMathew family.” TravisMathew CEO, Travis Brasher tells us. “He is a perfect fit for our brand and exemplifies the TravisMathew culture both on and off the course.”

Keegan Bradley, The 2011 PGA Champion, is a two time Ryder Cup participant, and a member of the winning Presidents Cup team in 2013. The 2011 Rookie of the year has had a brilliant start to his career and TravisMathew is looking forward to joining him on his next chapter.

Known for his quirky pre-shot routine and his signature Jordan golf Shoes, Bradley can now add TravisMathew apparel to his arsenal.

When asked about the new partnership, he said, “I am extremely excited to be joining team TravisMathew. I couldn’t think of a better fit for my personal style.” Welcome to the Team Keegan!

There some of those who marvel at the American Dream and there are those who live it. 2014 was the year of Chris Kirk! Chris won two tournaments last season and finished 2nd in the FedEx Cup standings. A loyal University of Georgia fan, Kirk is the unassuming persistent player that you never see coming until he is in the lead. He is the All-American.

We sat down and asked Kirk a few questions:

TravisMathew: When did you turn pro?

Chris Kirk: 2007

TM: What has been your favorite moment on tour?

CK: My favorite memory on tour is definitely my win last year at the McGladrey Classic. To win at Sea Island where I lived for 6 years was amazing. Davis Love III was my favorite player as a kid and has become an incredible mentor in my years as a pro so to win his tournament was a dream come true. On top of that my wife, Tahnee, was 7 months pregnant with our second son, Foster. She and our oldest son Sawyer were waiting on the 18th hole after I won. Can’t write a script any better than that.

TM: If you were to leave the house with one piece of TravisMathew what would it be?

CK: If I was leaving the house and could only take one TM piece with me it would probably be a white OG polo. That shirt is a cornerstone of the TM brand and a perfect example of classic style. It’s a rare piece that can be worn to the beach, the golf course, and the bar with your buddies. Not necessarily in that order.

As always, our Class of 2015 sticks out in the most awesome of ways. This esteemed, privileged, boilerplate group of individuals don’t know the meaning of typical. The lawns these guys walk on have been manicured to the highest of standards, and they aren’t sitting in a lecture on the mechanics of special relativity. They are teaching fellow students the true meaning of being awesome.

So put down your number two pencil and pick up a 9 iron because the SAT’s don’t have much weight on this entrance exam. The Class of 2015 is ready for the new year!

This win capped off what was already a great season for Charley with 5 top 10s and 10 top 25s. Since joining the TravisMathew team in 2013, Charley has been a great representation of what our brand stands for. Living a good portion of the year in San Diego, he embodies the laid back Southern California lifestyle that we thrive on. In addition, Charley’s charitable efforts are something that we share in and admire greatly. Chris Kirk 2015 Season

TravisMathew team member Chris Kirk will be defending his 2013-2014 title at the McGladrey Classic this week. Coming off his best year yet with two wins and a 2nd place finish in the FedEx Cup, Chris looks to keep the momentum going in his first start of the 2014-2015 season. Recently, Kirk came out for a quick visit and photo-shoot by the coast in Southern California.

Chris has always been a super easy-going and a ‘roll-with-the-punches’ kind of guy. After the year and meteoric rise he had this past season, we weren’t sure what to expect. Sure enough, when we picked him up from the airport, grabbed his bags and asked where we can get some good tacos, we knew nothing had changed. Chris is a perfect representation of what we believe in here in TM. Laid-back, easy-going. But behind that layer, he is a fierce competitor that is striving to be the best at his craft. At TravisMathew, we look to bring alive the laid-back, southern-california lifestyle that we thrive on in through our products. But on top of that, we look to bring you the best that the industry has to offer and provide you with everything you’ll need for every aspect of your life.

Best of luck to Chris and all of the TravisMathew team competing in this weeks McGladrey Classic. We’re all looking forward to an amazing season!

When WWII ended and the American people were in need of distraction with an urgent sense of returning the country to normal, there was a drastic increase of interest in Hollywood films. Theaters wanted to identify themselves separately from other local businesses and as a result of many construction materials being limited by the war, glass and lights became the primary material for constructing marquees.

The shape also evolved from a small rectangle to a trapezoid, making it more readable to automobile traffic. This may seem irrelevant when thinking about Rock and Roll until you realize how much DNA of this period influenced some of the most famous concert venues.

When your name is on the marquee, you either get the glory or you get the hits. -Meat Loaf

When we assembled the story boards for design inspiration for our Life On Tour Collection, we had many photos of old and famous theaters. Many music venues started out as Hollywood film theaters and have iconic marquees. When we designed the Largo you can see the influence of the neon lights and the clean lines of those historic signs. The Largo is a favorite amongst the staff at TravisMathew, and it’s one of those pieces that you sit back, look at it, and say “Yep, that’s going to be a favorite.” We hope everyone else loves it as much as we do.

It also puts him in first place in The FedEx Cup standings and a hopeful to be one of the three Ryder Cup captain’s picks announced Tuesday.

“I definitely put myself in contention for one,” Kirk said. “If I get picked great. If not, I’m still happy with my win today.”

Paired with Rory McIlroy for the second straight day, Kirk took the outright lead for the first time with a 25-foot birdie putt on the 13th hole. Down the stretch, he held off Billy Horschel and the rest of the field thanks to steady play and a red hot putter.

We here could not be happier for Kirk. For those of you asking, Kirk was wearing Hough Pants, and a Carl Spackler polo.

We know how it is when you travel. A few days before your trip you rummage through the closet to locate your luggage and then systematically over-pack for the next few nights. Once you arrive at the airport you check your bag and are off to the next destination. It’s not until you reach the arrival carousel when embarrassment sets in. You never noticed until now; everyone else’s luggage fashionably rounds the chrome corners and you flush with shame as your old, ratty bag scoots along the conveyer belt.
