Travis Mathew team member Bubba Watson got himself a new ride out to San Diego where he is defending champion at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines.
To go along with Bubba Watson’s November cover of Golf Digest, Bubba Watson also filmed a web video that, without surprise, had some must-see outtakes. See for yourself here.
Last weekend, Travis Mathew team member Bubba Watson hosted the Bubba Watson Junior at Meadowlands Golf Club in North Carolina. Travis Mathew was proud to be able to donate $25,000 to the event and it turned out to be a great success. See the video recap below.
Travis Mathew team member Bubba Watson fired only his third under-par round at East Lake today with a 64. He is only three shots behinds leader Adam Scott and in great position heading into the weekend. Check out this birdie he made on the 535 Yard Par-4 5th. Good luck this weekend Bubba!

Bubba Watson will be in one of the featured groups of the day teeing off at 11:48 EST with Phil Mickelson and Gary Woodland.
Kirk is currently 43rd on the FedEx Cup money list and 154 points out of the top 30. He will need a strong finish this week to make it to the Tour Championship.
Travis Mathew will be watching anxiously and be updating team member results along the way on twitter at @travismathew

Travis Mathew team members Bubba Watson and John Mallinger are looking to make it a TM sweep this weekend. Bubba Watson is currently T-1 at the Deutsche Bank Championship after firing a second round 64. John Mallinger is currently T-1 at the Mylan classic after three rounds. Travis Mathew is looking for a clean sweep this weekend and we like the position we are in. Good luck to both Bubba and Mally the rest of the weekend. Mally tees off tomorrow in the final round of the Mylan Classic at 10:00 AM EST. Bubba Watson will tee it up tomorrow in the 3rd round of the Deutsche Bank Championship in the final group and will look to keep the momentum going into the fourth round on Monday. Travis Mathew will be on hand giving you up to the minute updates on both Mally’s and Bubba’s quest for titles this weekend. Should be fun!
The PGA Tour just released a new player profile video on Travis Mathew team member Bubba Watson. Check it out.

The Travis Mathew “U.S. Open Polo” was a feature in the latest edition of the Man in The Black Hat. Who knew a military outfit with a bit of Travis Mahew style could cause such a flair-up. See the story below:
“Just when you thought it was safe to sneak in a quick nine in that tattoo-inspired ‘polo’ shirt, The Man In The Black Hat returns from hibernation this week to bring you a much needed TOUR style update. Since our last update in April, additional evidence of the importance golf fashion plays on the PGA TOUR has come to light. As a prime example, we turn to what was the most talked about fashion event since the Masters — Bubba Watson’s camouflage trousers at Congressional. No one pair of pants in recent memory has generated as much social media banter as these managed, with the look polarizing the opinions of self-anointed golf stylists and regular joes (there’s a difference?) everywhere.
What cannot be disputed is that the buzz Bubba’s distinct military look generated was of fantastic benefit to the charity it supported. Bubba’s clothier, Travis Mathew, crowdsourced a polo design from its fan base to raise money for Birdies for the Brave, the military outreach initiative proudly supported by the PGA TOUR.”
Bubba Watson is returning this week to the Travelers Championship where last week he won his first ever PGA Tour event. Since then, Bubba has gone on to take runner-up in the PGA Championship, make the 2010 Ryder Cup team, and in 2011, win two PGA Tour events and lead the FedEx Cup Points list. From all of us at Travis Mathew, good luck to Bubba on your return to the place that started the amazing whirlwind that the past year has been!
