Behind the Seams | Looking for Paul Revere

The 1980s are when I embraced my own taste in music. Growing up I listened to a lot of Beastie Boys, but let's be honest, who didn’t love Mike D, MCA and Ad-Rock? Finding inspiration is a funny concept because more times than not the inspiration finds you. One night I found myself passing the Otter Rock Cafe, when I heard the anthem of my youth: “You’ve got to fight for your right to party!”

The Lowe Polo stemmed from looking at all of the people I saw dancing that night at the Otter. TravisMathew is known for throwing a party and letting everyone know that they are invited. I took the colors from the Otter Rock Cafe facade and imagined what the lights in the studio might have looked like while recording "Fight For Your Right". To me, The Lowe represents embracing those random nights having fun, and while we might not have planned to stay up 'til 3 a.m. it's not only our right, but it's our responsibility to roll with it. When those occasions arise, you'll be thankful that you're looking good.
