Overview:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for developing and maintaining accounting practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. S/He will address tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities. S/He will possess strong excel skills, is proactive, enjoys multi-tasking and has the ability to work with all levels of management in a dynamic, multi-faceted environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with established accounting principles and regulations
  • Drive the month-end close process through the preparation of journal entries and subsequent financial statements
  • Attend monthly financial review meetings with department heads to analyze results and variances, and provide useful input to the departments we support
  • Prepare and analyze monthly bank reconciliations
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts through monthly work-paper preparation and documentation

Planning Analyst

Location: Huntington Beach, CA

Overview:

The Planning Analyst will lead the processing of large and varied amounts of data, to create data models for presentation to cross functional teams. S/he will be responsible for all forecasting activities associated with the customers and products related to their applicable categories and maintain forecast models based on information obtained from Sales, Marketing, Finance, Retail and other sources. Additionally, the Planning Analyst is responsible for recognizing trends or patterns and adjusting forecasts using statistical modeling techniques and qualitative data.

Essential Functions:

  • Validate and process large and varied amounts of data and provide a detailed analysis with actionable feedback to the Demand Planner and Executive team
  • Partner with Customer Service, Production, Planning, Marketing, Retail and Sales teams to develop inventory models and forecasts

Accounts Payable Clerk

Location: Huntington Beach, CA

Overview:

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for managing the accounts payable inbox, responding to vendor questions, processing invoices for payment according to payment terms, and maintaining clear records of all transactions. Additionally, the clerk will be accountable for managing the payment tracker to properly account for and track inventory, wire payments, and cash outflows.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities and provide efficient client service
  • Maintain strong communication with vendors and respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner
  • Review all invoices and payment requests for appropriate documentation and approvals, and code to the applicable general ledger account prior to payment

  • Oversee effective product and visual merchandising in the store to drive sales and create a positive customer experience that is easy to shop and outfit head to toe.
  • Build and oversee clientelling program to manage, engage, and track client performance. Build programs to connect with the client on a personal level first and foremost, to build brand loyalty.

Operational Excellence

  • Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications or related field is preferred but not required.
  • Three to Five years of retail managerial experience with both back office and retail floor sales experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office and experience with Point of Sale systems and Intranet file sharing tools. Understanding of social media based communication and application based technology are plusses as well.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal social skills are a must.
