Overview:

The Marketing Specialist - Retail will be responsible for developing and executing retail marketing strategies to build the best consumer connection in store, engaging target audience and enhancing the brand experience.  Manages the development and execution of retail marketing initiatives to ensure the strategic content and creative treatment effectively reflects a clear and concise message across all channels.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee retail marketing projects including, but not limited to; graphic design support, social media management, special events, sales promotions, and miscellaneous marketing duties.
  • Work directly with the creative team to ensure the content and creative treatment of all marketing initiatives reflect the strategic direction and priority of messaging in an engaging and compelling manner.
  • Manage all signage work orders. Partner with merchandising and visual teams to ensure signage and window messaging clearly communicate retail marketing and product story priorities to the creative team. Work with visual team to create revolving retail signage on a monthly basis.
  • Manage the relationships with mall management and other advertising channels to secure every brand-appropriate marketing asset available on behalf of each store to increase brand awareness and drive new customers.
  • Partner with analysis team to provide a detailed overview of every retail test, including objectives and metrics for success.  Communicate clear and timely results and implications for future initiatives.
  • Ensure brand integrity, accurate branding, and style guidelines are maintained and adhered to in printed, electronic and advertising materials.
  • Direct all social content creation and distribution for events, promotions, and other marketing collateral to promote the brand across all retail channels.
  • Conceptualize event themes/programs, and execute at all retail locations, including providing stores with branded materials as needed to support the promotion of said events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • 2-5 years of experience in retail marketing
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously
  • Must be a creative thinker
